Computer Science Graduate | Full-Stack Developer | Problem Solver
Hi! I'm Jose, a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of Washington with a passion for building innovative solutions and tackling complex problems.
Proud of my Mexican roots, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my work and life. My heritage has taught me the values of hard work, family, and community.
My journey in technology began with a curiosity about how things work. This curiosity led me to pursue Computer Science at the University of Washington, where I developed a strong foundation in software development, algorithms, and system design.
Throughout my academic career, I've had the opportunity to work on various projects that have helped me grow as a developer.
I'm passionate about gaming, especially indie multiplayer and survival games. I love sharing these experiences with friends and family, creating memorable moments together.
I’ve been attempting to build a game engine and 3D game from scratch using Java and LWJGL, and it’s been an eye-opening experience. It’s helped me realize the complexity and importance of optimizations in real-time rendering, and has given me a much deeper appreciation for how 3D game engines work under the hood. What started as curiosity has turned into a passionate technical challenge that’s helped me grow as both a developer and a problem solver.
Sports play a significant role in my life, providing both entertainment and lessons in teamwork and dedication.
I’m passionate about all types of cars—classic and modern—with a strong interest in performance tuning, engineering, and automotive technology.
